Birthday's ...

So it was my friend's birthday's recently and I didn't really want to go because I've been feeling Blah recently and I didn't feel like going out. I was really thinking of ways to get out of going because I just didn't feel like going out. But since they are some of my close friends I had to force myself to go. But yeah my friend's both had parties on the same day and I went to both thanks to my other friend who drove. I think if I didn't go with her and she didn't drive, I probably wouldn't have gone. I'm so thankful to my friends that force me to get up and out of my house especially when I'm feeling Blah!

So this is what I wore, The top, necklace and the bracelets are from forever 21, the blazer is thrifted. The skirt my mom made, I saw this fabric at the swap meet and I loved it. You can't really see it but it has like little sparkles all over it. The headband I made myself and the boots and tights are from the swap meet.

Here's a closer look at the details of the headband! Random fact about me, I love making headbands and i have around 20+ headbands that I've made. :)

When your younger...

Hey everyone! So it was my nephews birthday yesterday and he turned 3! Wow it's so crazy how fast kids grow up so fast. It feels like now that I'm older years seem to go by faster then when your younger because when your younger you're so care free. Now that your older you have so much to think about and stress about. It reminded me of this quote my friend put on her facebook the other day...

"Remember when getting high meant swinging on the playground? When protection meant wearing a helmet? When the worse thing you could get from boys were cooties? Your worse enemies were your siblings. Race issues were about who ran the fastest? War was only a card game? Wearing a skirt didn't make you a slut. The only...thing that hurt you were skinned knees? And we couldn’t wait to grow up.”

It's so true! I don't know why I was so excited to grow up so fast. How much do I miss playing with my dolls and not worrying about anything. Oh those were the good times. Now its like I gotta grow up even if I'm not ready, I better believe the real world is right here and it's not that great. haha

Well this is the outfit that I wore to my nephew's birthday. The baret and boots are from Target. The shirt, cardigan, and skirt are from Old Navy. The ribbon and stockings are from the swap meet. You can't really see my jewelry in the pictures but they are from forever 21. (earrings and necklace)

DIY: Headband Holder

So I don't know about you but I have a lot of headbands because i was so into them before and i think i might start wearing them again when winter is over and its spring. But I stopped wearing them and they have been just sitting on my desk and I tried putting them in a shoe box but they wouldn't fit. So I searched online to try to find something that i can make or use to hold my head bands and there were a few things that I found but none of them seemed enough for me because I seriously have a lot of head bands.

So I went to target today and looked around and I went into the curtain section because I was looking at curtains because i wanted to get some for my room. Then i noticed the bars that they have to put up curtains and I thought those would be so great to put my head bands on. So I looked at the different kinds and I ended up buying this (curtain rod) and it came with two different rods and i noticed only had two brackets because it was suppose to be a double rod so i got some extra brackets like these (brackets). The curtain rod was only $2.99 and the extra brackets were on clearance for $0.68, so it was around $4.

So this is how the rod's looked in my room! I put them on top of one another because I figured that it would help keep the headbands on the rod instead of slipping off.

Here's how it looks with all my headbands on it. It barely held all my headbands, a lot of them are overlapped but it really did work well with keeping them organized and off my desk. So I'm really happy with the outcome. Now if i only I can find away to store all my hats. :)

crocheting like crazy...

Hey everyone so i've been crocheting a lot recently. I've been crocheting for a few years now but I never knew how to make a hat or beanie. So I decided to look up how to make one on youtube and I found a few ones untill I found one that i really liked and I've been making them for the past few days. I altered the pattern a bit because the original was way too big of a circle and the band that they did was to thick. So here are a few that I made so far and currently I'm making a baby pink one. I'm thinking of making some for gifts but im not sure yet because im not sure if anyone want one of these.

Here's what it looks like on me, sorry i look horrible it's one of my lazy days :p

Oh grammy's...

So i know many people watched the Grammy's the other night! What did you think? I personally loved Lady Gaga's, Beyonce and Pink's performances, I thought they were great. As for the fashion I thought it was kinda blah, I think i was expecting more. But here's the low down on what i thought!
I loved...

So Rihanna's dress, I know many people didn't like it but I really liked I thought it was something different and fashion forward and not a simple gown lots of people wear. It's the Grammy's and I really expected people to wear more fun outfits then boring ones.
Lady Gaga, what can I say you either love her or hate her! And for me I loved this outfit, I kept thinking that it meant that she was reaching for the stars or something like that!
Keri Hilson, even though her dress was like a regular gown. It's one that I personally really liked and when i saw her on the red carpet i thought she looked gorgeous.

I hated...

The Philippines does GLEE

credits to the owner of the video RJtexasUSA

So I was watching The Filipino Channel(TFC) and it was one of my favorite shows ASAP, which is like a variety show, and they started the show by performing the mash-ups from Glee. Glee is my one of my favorite shows also, so i thought it was interesting that they were performing Glee songs. I love it, its like two of my favorite things! But I know that it doesn't sound that great but trust me they are actually really good singers.

PS I love totally love the outfits that the Pilipino celebrities are wearing! It's inspiring me to wear a black skirt with a white shirt and a jean vest! :)
